We have been feeding Blue Ridge Beef to our dogs since 2016 and became a licensed distibutor in 2018, after the central Ohio distributor retired. We were so impressed with the Blue Ridge Beef meat quality, results, and safety standards that we made the decision to share our passion and knowledge with others.
We Learned the Hard Way
In 2016, we suffered a devasting loss, as we lost one of our beloved dogs to cancer. After investigation, we learned that the cancer was linked to the toxins present in most kibble; as a result, we started feeding a raw meat diet. We became even more sensitive to our pets health and diet, and after researching and speaking with vets and other professionals, we chose Blue Ridge Beef.
After about a week of eating raw meat, our older dog was able to keep her food down; her energy level skyrocketed, and she became more mobile by being able to go up and down steps by herself. This validated the raw food diet, and we would use nothing else. Our newest family members, Selene and Zora, have been eating raw, since we got them as puppies at six weeks old.
